Sustainability & responsibility

From the materials we source to the packaging we use, we’re committed to making responsible choices for our planet. For comfort that lasts, with less waste along the way.

Better materials, by choice

We carefully select materials to balance comfort, quality, and environmental responsibility. By combining these fibres, we aim to create socks that are better for you and kinder to the planet.

Merino Wool:
Our wool is ethically sourced from Australian farms certified under the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS). This certification ensures high standards for animal welfare, land management, and traceability. Wool is also known for its durability.

Bamboo: The fastest-growing plant on Earth, requires up to 70% less water than cotton to grow, making it a more eco-friendly choice. The bamboo fibres we use are OEKO-TEX certified, meaning they’re produced under strict environmental and chemical safety standards that limit harmful substances, reduce pollution, and promote safer working conditions.

Plastic-free, by intention

Our packaging is as eco-conscious as the socks inside.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC): All of our boxes and sock bands are FSC-certified, meaning they come from responsibly managed forests.

Origami, baby: Instead of plastic hang tags or strings, we designed our own sock band that holds each pair together. No tape, no adhesives, no waste, no damage. Just recycle it.

Compostable shipping: We use Hero Packaging’s certified home‑compostable mailers and sticker labels, which are all made from certified plant-based materials (PBAT and PLA, aka cornstarch). They're 100% plastic-free, and break down naturally.

All packaging is biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable. Because being kind to your feet shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense.

Made responsibly, by verified manufacturers

We partner with manufacturers who share our commitment to ethical production. Our manufacturers are certified by Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Fair Trade, and OEKO-TEX, ensuring safe working conditions, fair wages, and environmentally responsible practices.

Site visits: While many manufacturers list certifications, we believe the most transparent approach is seeing things for ourselves. That’s why we’ve personally visited our suppliers, walked through their production floors, and observed every stage - from knitting to finishing and packing.

Our socks are made in Haining city (Zhejiang, China). Not because it’s cheaper, but because it’s where the technology exists to bring our fabric blend to life. We’ve met the people who make our socks and taken time to understand their working conditions, because every pair starts with people, and knowing how they're made matters.

Timeless staple, by design

Simple design:
Our socks adopt simple, minimal styles. No trendy excess, no unnecessary details, just classic colours that work with everything, making it a wardrobe staple that fits with your everyday essentials.

Built to last: Our socks feature reinforced toes and heels to prevent holes from friction and impact. Merino wool adds strength, complementing the softness of bamboo.

Small batch production: We produce in small batches. This approach allows us reduce overproduction and better manage resources, while maintaining the care and attention every pair deserves.

Sustainability is a journey

We're not perfect, and we don’t pretend to be. We’re continuously learning, improving, and making conscious choices where we can. From materials to packaging, we’re starting with the small things, but we’re committed to doing better, every step of the way.
